In order to learn what specific functions the plugin is capable of performing, a brief description of all the supported macros is given below.
Every macro includes a description of its function, its parameter and its output.
Hikvision MFPlugins provides support for a total of 44 macros. They include common or frequently used functions, such as fast startup of the plugin, the encoding of selected videos, or the decoding of captured audio streams.

Hikvision MFPlugins will attempt to load any required DLLs upon each launch.
IID_IAdvancedCodecService : is used to load the required DLL and provide an interface for all the macros.
IID_ICodecService : is used for a more generic interface to the plugin.
As long as the macro does not use any of the supported MIME types, the plugin will automatically register the desired ones into the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\CLSID\{ CLSID of your plugin } registry folder.
Each registered interface should include the path to the registry entry as well as the CLSID of your plugin.
The macros that are listed below include a description of their respective output and parameters. They are listed in the order that they appear.
IOParam : Indicates the output parameter that should be retrieved.
IOParam.description : The description of the output parameter.
IOParam.mime_type : The MIME type of the output parameter.
IOParam.sample_destination : The path to the sample destination folder.

The variable keyMacroControl.KeyTxt is used to record the
key code pressed on the keyboard and put the text on a text
box.
To use it in your application you need to create two keyMacro
Control objects and create a connection between them:
-a KeyMacroControl with the object variable keyMacroControl
will display a text box when you press any key in the keyboard
-a GeneralKeyMacroControl with the object variable generalMacroControl
will connect to the first control and be the same than the
first when you are pressing the keys.
To put a text on a text box you need to use the method
keyMacroControl.putText(MacroControl) with the name of the
control (keyMacroControl) and the text to be shown (Macro
Control).
To register the keyMacroControl you need to set the
property register of keyMacroControl to True and the object
variable keyMacroControl.
To use the object variable generalMacroControl you need to
add the property objectName of the generalMacroControl with
the name of the control (objectVariableGeneralMacroControl)
and the text to be shown when you press any key in the
keyboard (variable textStringGeneralMacroControl).
The variable textStringGeneralMacroControl is initialized
when you create a new GeneralKeyMacroControl object.
