Log into your email with ease
InboxTab is a new client for Mozilla Thunderbird with an intuitive layout that makes it easy to manage your email inbox.
See your folders in context
The standard layout is a vertical list with two columns, each representing an entry in your folder list. The right pane displays messages and the left shows a list of “actions”: archive, trash, mark read, move and mark unread. The software will even show you if messages have attachments.
Open a new window to review
You can get an overview of your inbox by opening a new tab or window. This is particularly useful if you want to go through an archive or trash folder, as the window will be easily readable.
Convert tabs to folders
InboxTab can automatically create new folders based on the content of your email. So if you have a group of messages from a certain source, like a family member, they will be grouped together in a tab that you can then easily find when browsing your inbox.
Quickly search and sort your inbox
InboxTab includes search functionality. You can either enter a specific word in the search box, or you can also choose a specific folder to search. Results will then be displayed in the context of the folder you selected, as shown in the screenshot.
Improved reliability
The application has also made a few improvements, including enhanced stability and less hanging.
Other features include:
• Drag & drop your mail to organize it
• Export to pdf, jpg or plain text
• Customize your tab buttons
InboxTab supports Thunderbird 13.
