iBattery is a handy tool to easily monitor your notebook battery. It is easy to set up and runs quietly in the background.
iBattery is a gadget for your desktop that shows the current lifespan of your notebook battery. It is very simple to install and set up, even by users with little or no experience in software tools.
The interface is based on a very small frame that contains a green meter which turns to red when the battery is almost depleted. But you can choose another color from the Options panel, between blue, fire, pink and variable.
The frame can be moved to any position on the screen. Thanks to the default options provided by the operating system, you can adjust the window’s opacity and make it stay on top of other frames. This way, iBattery does not interrupt user activity while you’re working in other applications, and you can get a quick peek at the battery level.
iBattery includes several other configuration options. You can change the sound effects (iPhone, Windows, Engine) or disable them altogether, as well as hide the percentage, remaining time and status icon from the frame.
The small gadget is not a burden to the computer’s overall performance, as it uses a very low amount of CPU and RAM. It has a good refresh rate and delivers accurate results. No error dialogs have been shown in our tests, and iBattery did not hang or crash.Free radical scavenging activity of linalool.
Many plants possess a wide range of biologically active compounds. Owing to their variety, some of these compounds may have biological activity in addition to their odoriferous effect. In this study, linalool, a major component of essential oil of many aromatic plants, was used to determine its free radical scavenging activity. Hydroxyl radical (HO.), superoxide radical (O2(-)) and lipid peroxyl radical (LOO.) scavenging activities of linalool were investigated by ESR spin-trapping method. The compound was found to inhibit HO. and LOO. generation and to scavenge O2(-). In the peroxidation of linoleic acid in vitro, linalool was also shown to inhibit the lipid peroxidation induced by free radicals in the linoleic acid system.Q:
